Description
AIM OF THE APPOINTED PERSON FAMILIARISATION TRAINING COURSE:
To provide individuals with the required level of underpinning, theoretical knowledge relating to the duties and responsibilities of an Appointed Person. Candidates shall gain a better understanding of the role and what is expected throughout the duration of lifting activities.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The Appointed Person Familiarisation Training Course is suitable for Site Managers, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Directors or any individuals directly involved with lifting activities.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates do not require any previous experience but must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them from attending this course. Delegates should be able to write and speak in English. Safety equipment will be supplied by your trainer.

- Lifting Equipment & Selection
- The Lifting Team – Qualifications, Roles & Responsibilities (including delegation of duties)
CERTIFICATION:
Card & Certificate of Competence, valid for 3 years before renewal.
