Description
If you work on buildings constructed or refurbished before the year 2000, Asbestos may well be present. If this is the case, then you and your employees have a legal requirement to carry out Asbestos Awareness Training in order to help you avoid the risks and comply with Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
AIM OF THE ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING COURSE:
To build awareness and develop knowledge amongst site-based employees, educating to the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) within their everyday working environment. It also offers an overview of the legislative measures in place to safeguard workers.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The Asbestos Awareness Training Course is suitable for persons who are liable to disturb asbestos whilst carrying out their normal everyday work, or who may influence how work is carried out.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates do not require any previous experience but must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them from attending this course. Delegates should be able to write and speak in English. Safety equipment will be supplied by your trainer.
